Church History
Crocker Presbyterian Church
The Crocker Presbyterian Church was organized by the former members of the Pulaski Presbyterian Church in 1893. On June 4, 1893, following a service by Rev. A.W. Milster. A petition was made to the Presbytery of Potosi to organize into a Presbyterian Church in Crocker Missouri. One week later, led by Rev. Milster, on August 13th, 1893, in accordance to the petition, the Crocker Presbyterian Church was organized. Edward Fitzgerald and C. Scott Armstrong were installed as Ruling Elders with a total of 13 members.
What a wonderful accomplishment, 126 years of serving the Lord! Our 1893-1993 History book sums it up well saying, “This church has gone through several changes. Some of which have been quite hard, but we’re still here! The building may be different, the faces may be different, but the fundamentals remain the same. This church is a spiritual home for all who wish it to be. No one will be turned away, all are welcome to grow and learn of the love of God. “
